Domaine Laroche Reserve Chardonnay 2023

Domaine Laroche Reserve Chardonnay 2023

The Laroche family has been making wine in Chablis since 1850. Michel Laroche, the fifth generation, arrived in 1967 to continue a long tradition of allowing the wine to express its unique origin: The True Chablis. Michel has witnessed significant changes in Chablis and is the first generation to make a living exclusively from producing and selling wine.

Domaine Laroche is one of the largest vineyard owners in Burgundy, with offices located in the birthplace of Chablis: a ninth to sixteenth century listed monastery called l’Obédiencerie, where monks made the first Chablis.

This cuvée is a real opportunity to introduce the Chablis range with the know-how of Laroche and "Burgundy-style" vinification.

2023 Reserve Chardonnay from Domaine Laroche was selected from cool, high-altitude climates terriors, was matured on its lees, some of which in demi-muids barrels, according to the Burgundian tradition. The ages of the vines are 30 years minimum. A mosaic of predominantly clay and limestone terroirs with a remarkable raw material. This wine is fresh and has notes of white fleshy fruits.
